Happy Birthday Mac

Sunday was Mac's birthday. He was so lucky because he got to speak at church and give a lesson. (On a side note Parker and Eliza did great in nursery because we were both teaching so they really didn't have a choice). He did work the Ute win over BYU into his talk and got several gasps from the congregation. Mac also mentioned he was born of goodly parents who love BYU but he saw the light and went to the U. Again gasps.

Other then church it was a pretty mellow day. Breakfast- monkey bread.
We had a dinner (I made Italian grilled chicken) and he wanted a chocolate cake with funfetti sprinkles (I refuse to use store bought frosting so that part was home made).

He got several DVDs which he is really excited to watch (and can because this month is relatively easy), a NIKE gift card and tickets to the Kings/Jazz basketball game for him and Mackenzee (from Macknezee). He was really excited by his gifts as you can see below.

So Tuesday night they went to the game (with our friends- his birthday was the previous week). It was Macknezee's first pro basketball game. They made it in time for tip off.
This is when they got there.

It was a new experience for Mac because the girls of course wanted food (even though they had just eaten dinner). So 1.5 dibs ice cream and cotton candy each.
The food

They also insisted on getting the thunder sticks.

It was a great night because the Jazz pulled out a win and Mac got to introduce his daughter to the NBA.

Happy Birthday MAC!!!
